Sreenath contesting from Attingal
Noted Malayalam actor Sreenath will be the Sivasena candidate�in the upcoming Parliamentary elections from Attingal constituency, Thiruvananthapuram. Rumours say that apart from Sreenath, some other cinema personalities will also contest for the Parliament elections from Thiruvananthapuram.
Debuting in Malayalam cinema in the 70s, Sreenath shot to fame with his performances as Devan in super hit Malayalam TV serial Maanasaputhri and as Unni Krishnan in the�blockbuster film Salini Ente Koottukari (1978) directed by Mohan.
Some of his noted films are Attimari, Uthikkaachiya Ponnu, Ithu Njangalude Katha, Visa, Vritham, Sarvakalasala, Jalakam, Moonaam Mura, C.B.I. Diary Kurippu, Devasuram and Malootti. Sreenath is now concentrating more on TV serials.
