Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is one of the top actors in the Malayalam film industry who has worked in many hit films. Reports that the actor met with an accident during the shooting of the film Vilayatha Buddha became popular and made headlines on 26th June. Now, the actor has released an official statement confirming the incident. He said “So yes..! Had an accident while shooting on action sequences for Vilayatha Buddha.” He went on to say that fortunately, he's in the hands of experts who performed a key hole surgery and added, “I am now recouping”. The actor then went on to say that “It's rest and physiotherapy ahead for a couple of months”. He then went on to say that he will try his best to use the time constructively and that he will fight through the pain to recover fully and get back to action. He then expressed “Thank you to all those who reached out and expressed concern and love”.


Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has several big projects at hand including the film Vilayatha Buddha. He will play the role of a smuggler named Double Mohanan. The film is based on a novel and the script for the film is also written the author of the book, GR Indugopan. The film is directed by Jayan Nambiar. It also has Anumohan and Priyamvada Krishnan in important roles. 

Prithviraj Sukumaran has an exciting line of films that is part of includes the much-awaited film Aadujeevitham, a survival drama that has music composed by A.R. Rahman. The actor is also a part of KGF director Prashanth Neel's next film titled Salaar which has Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The film is set to be released on September 28. He is also making a comeback to Hindi with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
