Prithviraj as Swathi Thirunal
In its Onam special edition this year, popular Malayalam weekly film magazine Nana is coming up with a different photo scoop of Prithviraj. The actor will be seen in a 'Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma' look in Nana's cover story, which features Vishunupriya alongside Prithviraj.
According to sources, a lot of research and time were spent in the creation of this authentic look for the exclusive photo shoot which was held at the famous Kuthiramalika in Thiruvananthapuram where Swathi Tirunal lived and composed many songs.
Special permission was obtained by the magazine to shoot at the the 200 year old palace built adjacent to the magnificent Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple and references were taken from paintings of Swathi Tirunal. Costumes were designed by Satheesan. Ornaments worn by Prithviraj and Vishnupriya are all authentic royal antique jewellery.
