Director Prabhu Solomon, who is known for going that extra mile for his films, is leaving no stones unturned to make Thodari a visual treat. The film, which was shot predominantly on a train, has Dhanush and Keerthy Suresh in the lead. The train sequence was shot over a period of 22-25 days. In an interview, the director has stated that the shooting was a challenging task as it demands so much coordination, effort, and commitment. "We shot on a train which had an engine attached to 11 bogies. Even if I had hired the train for five hours, I would still have to wait for clearance from the Railways for the signals. Sometimes, shooting even a single shot was very tough," he was quoted saying.
