Cocktail is a Malayalam thriller film starring Jayasurya, Anoop Menon, Samvrutha Sunil, Fahad Fazil, Innocent and Mamukkoya. The film, which is an unaccredited remake of the Hollywood thriller Butterfly on a Wheel, had been directed by debutant Arun Kumar and co-directed by Anoop Menon. The remake will be produced by Spellbound Film Inc, who are planning to remake Cocktail in Telugu too. The Tamil version will star Telugu star Randhir and Radhika Apte of Dhoni fame in the lead roles. The other details of the cast and crew are yet to be announced, including the title. The shoot of the film will be commencing soon. The story of the film revolves around a man who blackmails a couple into doing whatever he tell by claiming to have kidnapped their daughter. The film was an average grosser.
