Popular Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi's surprise visit to Mohanlal-starrer Kunjali Marakkar's sets yesterday is the talk of the tinsel town now. The actor, who is a great fan of Lal spent time at Ramoji Film City to observe Lal's acting. He also sat along with director Priyadarshan in front of the monitor as Mohanlal tranformed into his character Marakkar.

The news was shared by production controller Sidhu Panakkal on Facebook. Sidhu added that Vijay Sethupathi refused the unit's request to meet the actor in his caravan. Instead, he rushed to the sets to see shooting. Saying that he is a big fan of Mohanlal, Sethupathi wanted to observe Lal's acting. Earlier, 'Thala' Ajith had paid a visit last month to Marakkar's sets during which he and director Priyadarshan spoke for a long time.

Sidhu ends his post by saying that he felt it is a great honour that Malayalam has an actor who receives respect from well known actors from even other languages. Mohanlal plays lead role in 'Marakkar,' based on the life of legendary naval chief of King Zamorin, who achieved martyrdom fighting for the mother land.
