A film that has kept everyone talking right from the moment of its announcement earlier this year, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s upcoming Diwali release, Bigil, under director Atlee and featuring music by A. R. Rahman will have its much-awaited audio launched tomorrow (September 19). Produced by AGS Entertainment, there has been quite a lot of chatter on social networking forums regarding the film’s promotions with sources close to us now revealing that there will neither be a teaser nor a trailer releasing tomorrow at the Bigil audio launch or on Atlee’s birthday, which falls on September 21. Furthermore, it has been disclosed to us that the makers are not planning to release the teaser/trailer until October with the most likely date being October 2 on Gandhi Jayanthi or during the Ayudha Pooja weekend. There has been tremendous excitement surrounding every little detail about Bigil and the expectations for the film’s teaser/trailer as well has been sky-high for quite sometime now.

Fans await a cracker of an entertainer when the upcoming action sports drama hits theatres next month considering it will see Vijay in dual roles while also as the coach of the Tamil Nadu women’s football team. Director Atlee, who has overseen the cuts for the promotions of his previous films, Theri and Mersal, along with his editor Ruben, will once again be wanting to knock it out of the park with what he has planned for his Bigil either in the form of a action-packed teaser or trailer. A multi-starrer, the film will also see Vijay reunite with Nayanthara after their Villu in 2009 and this time alongside a large ensemble supporting cast among whom include Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Gayathri Reddy, Daniel Balaji, Dheena, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji, Soundaraja, Devadarshini in major supporting roles.
