Sivaji Productions Bollywood venture
Sivaji Productions, the banner of the late legend Sivaji Ganesan produced the Hindi films Amar Deep (1958) and Rakhi (1962), 50 years ago. After making about 20 Tamil films, they are now setting foot again into Bollywood to produce Delhii Heights.
The movie is to be produced by Prabhu and directed by Anand Kumar. The movie launch ceremony was held in Delhi with the first shooting schedule. The second and final shooting schedule will be held in July.
The cast includes Jimmy Shergill, Neha Duphia, Om Puri, Kamini Khanna, Rohit Roy, Vivek Shauq and Simone Singh. The story revolves around Jimmy Shergill and Neha Duphia who are newly wed and strive hard to strike a balance between their personal and professional lives. There other characters in the story, each depicted differently. How these characters learn from each other’s lifestyles forms the core of the plot. Om Puri has enacted as a fun loving Sikh. Vivek Shauq is a funny cricket lover. Simone Singh is a wife trying to keep her marriage intact. Also there are four boys who go behind girls trying to impress them.
