Radio Mirchi's RJ Senthil, who turned actor with the popular television serial Saravanan Meenakshi, is all set to make his debut on the silver screen with director Balaji's Kann Pesum Varthaigal. Talking about it, the director reveals that he plays the role of a young ambitious man who arrives in Singapore to make big in life and there he falls in love with a young chirpy girl, played by Iniya. He is put to a situation to choose between love and ambition. The film, which is touted to be a rom-com, has been shot mostly in Singapore and rest of the scenes in India. Aadukalam Murugadoss and Madhumita, who played Santhanam's pair in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi have also been roped in. On selecting Senthil for the role, director Balaji says that he wanted someone who looks mature. He added that, though he is known to the audience, he is still a fresh face in Kollywood. Now, Senthil joins the list of RJ-turned-actors like Balaji and Mirchi Shiva.
