Himesh and his heroines
Himesh continues to pick teenage heroines for his films. After Hansika Motwani, Shweta Kumar, Jennifer Kotwal - Aap Ka Surroor, Karzzzz and Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekh respectively - it is South Indian actress Lakshmi Rai in the comedy Hhey Gujju. Himesh plays a double role in this movie directed by Satish Kaushik.
Originally from Belgaum, but now based in Chennai, Lakshmi has been doing South Indian films for the last three years. This is her first big break in Hindi films. Shooting for the film has already begun in Mumbai and two hot numbers featuring Lakshmi Rai and Himesh have been shot. Lakshmi plays a Punjabi girl's role in Hhey Gujju.
If you wonder why Himesh always opts for young new heroines in his films, the reason is astrological! According to some sources, his astrologer has advised that choosing a new heroine would be best for the films as well as his career.
But his detractors have a different story. According to them, this is Himesh's way of avoiding rejection, as no top actress would work with him given the fact that he likes to be the centre of attention all the time.
