Mohanlal and Meena starrer Drishyam in Malayalam went on to become one of the all time favourite movies of 2014. The remake rights of the film were sold in a jiffy in all languages.
We had earlier reported that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has been roped to reprise the role of Mohanlal in the Tamil version. The latest update is that the remake went on floors with an official pooja yesterday.
Actress Gauthami will be playing Meena's role from the original. The official announcement from the team is expected at the earliest.
