Kamal Haasan's decision to premiere his upcoming movie Vishwaroopam, on DTH before releasing it in theatres, came as a sudden bolt out of the blue! This decision drew mixed reactions from different corners of the industry! However, he now seems to have found allies in the Producers and Directors! In a joint meeting held by the Tamil Cinema producers and directors, it was decided that they would support Kamal's decision! The meeting included members of the Producers Council, the Tamil Film Directors Association and Producers Guild! All this comes in the midst of the Theatre owners condemning Kamal for his decision, stating that the DTH premiere would affect the collections at the theatres!
