Wall-E, essentially one of 2008’s cutest films, has received six Academy Awards nominations and the movie’s director's more than happy that his adorable creation has won so many hearts. "They make you feel like it's not a fluke. They make you feel like it's not chance that you've gotten there. Luck's always a huge part of it, but there's so much blood, sweat and tears and effort that sort of has to be in combination with the luck whenever it comes — and so you can take a little bit of solace in all the effort that you put towards stuff and feel that you've earned it a bit," said Wall-E’s director Andrew Stanton.
