Katy Perry: Part of Me is a fun concert film. In the movie you will see the bubbly singer in colourful candy costumes, singing playful pop songs. The film embarks on Perry's first-ever world tour and her rise to fame, introducing viewers to her family and friends, as well showing plenty of footage of a young Katy singing, playing guitar and talking in to a video camera, of her desire to have an impact on the world. The movie gets aggressively likeable, especially when she takes off the electric blue wig and gets 'real'.

Perry is the only artist to spend over 52 consecutive weeks in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, and has since extended this to 69 weeks. As of 2012, Perry has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, including Album of the year (Teenage Dream) and record of the year (Firework).

Perry is completely in charge of her own life.
