The All India Malayali Association (AIMA) held a fund raising musical program, yesterday. This event titled Maathruvandanam, had eminent musician Gopi Sunder Live in concert, with many prominent singers performing alongside him. At the event, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan presented a donation of Rs. 25 Lakhs to the Adayar Cancer Institute, on behalf of the All India Malayali Association. Maathruvandanam was held at the Kandasamy Naidu College, at Anna Nagar. This noble initiative by AIMA is very heartening indeed.
