As ace soccer player, David Beckham has decided to retire from the game, the question has risen, if the star would now turn his interest to acting.

According to reports, actor Tom Cruise had once promised Beckham that, he will help him make his dream of becoming an actor, come true some day. Apparently, even Victoria has been urging Beckham to become a Hollywood actor and wants to see him be a big star.

The Beckhams have always been close to Cruise. And now that Beckham thinks it is the best time for him to enter films, looks like Cruise is going to pull in some time to help Beckham get some good roles.

David, is reportedly being lined up to star in a remake of 1981 football movie Escape To Victory.
