Now, Vijay's father AL Alagappan has confirmed that the couple is planning to divorce on mutual consent. A leading English daily has reported that director Vijay is unhappy with Amala's decision to continue acting after marriage. It also stated that Amala has initially agreed to stop acting post marriage but continue signing films.
