Venkatesh as Swami Vivekananda
Marking a new trend among mainstream heroes in Tollywood, Victory Venkatesh has decided to debut as a TV actor.
Sources say Venkatesh will make his first TV appearance by playing the role of India's philosopher Swami Vivekananda in a 25 episode TV serial that focuses on the life and ideologies of Swami Vivekananda.
Director Neelakantha, who made Show and Missamma, is the director of this untitled serial. Notably, Venkatesh himself is the producer. It is learnt that the serial would be initially dubbed in English and later in other languages, including Tamil and Hindi. Further details are awaited.
