'Thalapathy' Vijay's next big film, The Greatest of All Time, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release this year and blockbuster filmmaker Venkat Prabhu is leaving no stone in making it a celebration experience in cinemas. The highly-anticipated film is billed to be a high-octane action entertainer featuring songs and a background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is composing the music for the superstar after two decades when they last collaborated in Pudhiya Geethai (2003).

Meanwhile, a fan put forward a request to Venkat Prabhu on social media on Thursday evening, February 22, asking him to release The Greatest of All Time first single soon, with the filmmaker revealing that it's a bit too early Initially, there was a small buzz that the The Greatest of All Time first single could possibly come out as a Valentine's Day treat, and the wait will now be on for the film's team to make the much-awaited announcement.

The Greatest of All Time has been carrying tremendous buzz ever since its announcement last year and has Vijay sharing the screen alongside an ensemble cast that includes Kolai fame Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead, followed by Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Laila, Sneha, Mohan, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Premgi Amaren, Vaibhav, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raaj, among others in pivotal roles. The expectations for the film have shot up, especially after Vijay recently announced that he will be diving full time into politics soon, and fans will no doubt be looking to relish witnessing him in action as much as they can before he bids his farewell from cinema after the tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, which is yet to be officially announced. The Greatest of All Time will reportedly feature Vijay as father and son and will be the sixth time he will be seen in dual roles if indeed true after films Azhagiya Tamil Magan (2007), Villu (2009), Kaththi (2014), Puli (2015), and Bigil (2019).
