Producer Sobha Rani of SVR Media has bagged the theatrical distribution rights (AP) of the Telugu dubbed version of Vijay-Kajal Aggarwal starrer Thuppakki.
SVR Media has paid a whopping Rs. 15 crores for the Telugu rights, setting a new record in obtaining the Telugu rights. Reportedly, several Tollywood biggies like Bellamkonda Suresh, Geetha Films and Suresh Films were very keen in bagging the rights.
This action thriller is written and directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Music is by Harris Jayaraj while cinematography is by Santhosh Sivan. The film is slated for Deepavali release.
