Saranya splits from mother!
Actress Saranya (22), who made her debut in Kollywood with Kadhal (Premisthe in Telugu) as a friend to Sandya's character and went on to become a star with Jayam Ravi's super hit Peraanmai, is reported missing by her mother!
The actress' mother Manjula lodged a missing complaint with the city Police Commissioner on Monday, alleging that her daughter, who had gone for the shooting of a Tamil film Mazhaikalam, had not returned home. Manjula, a resident of Ganga Nagar First Main Road in Kodambakkam, said her daughter left home about three months ago.
In the complaint, Manjula also alleged that her daughter was under the spell of a "black magician" who was not only exploiting the actress financially, but also encouraging her to turn against her mother. "There are some people in her circle who are aware that she has a lot of money and thus they have her in their custody. I request the police to relieve her from their custody," she pleaded.
On the other hand, Saranya rubbished all these allegations made by her mother, saying that she is staying in her friend's residence and is busy with Mazhaikalam. She agreed that she left home as she had differences with her mother. However, Saranya said that she is not under anyone’s influence and would like to stay alone and concentrate on acting. Saranya feels that being with her mother would be a hurdle for her progress.
