Preetika Rao debuts in Telugu
Hindi actress Amrita Rao's sister Preetika Rao, who made an impressive debut in Tamil with Chikku Bukku starring Arya, has signed an untitled Telugu film, which marks her Telugu debut.
The new film, a love story cum family entertainer, is directed by M.S. Raju's associate Sravan under the banner of UK Avenues. Varun Sandesh is the hero. The shooting will commence in March. The actress has already completed a photo session with Varun in Hyderabad.
"I was being offered Telugu movies since Standard 10, but I'm glad I chose to complete my education first and then got into the profession. The Telugu movie with Varun Sandesh came to me at the right time since my debut Tamil movie Chikku Bukku had just released and won me Tamil fans across the globe who are connected with me on Facebook. Now I'm glad I have an opportunity to connect with the Telugu audiences as well," Preetika said in an interview.
