Kalaignar to inaugurate Chennai Sangamam
Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi will inaugurate the fifth edition of Chennai Sangamam to be held from January 12 to 17 in Chennai. This year, the event will feature over 1,300 artists from all over the State, including about 800 folk artists. More than 100 poets, writers and speakers have been lined up for providing an experience of poetry and Tamil literature. Over 50 types of folk arts would also be performed.
