Happy Birthday Tarun

Popular Tamil-Telugu chocolate hero Tarun debuted in films as a child artist in 1990 with Manasu Mamatha, followed by ace Mani Ratnam's Anjali (for which he won the National award for best child artist) and Rajinikanth's Thalapathi in which he appeared as a petty thief who finds baby Rajinikanth in a train.

Exactly 10 years after Manasu Mamatha, he came in Nuvve Kavali in 2000 as a hero which became a super duper hit, earning him a lover boy image in Tollywood.

After a couple of movies in Telugu like Uncle, Priyamaina Neeku, Nuvvu Leka Nenu lenu and Chirujallu, Tarun did his first straight Tamil film Punnagai Desam (2002). In a career spanning nearly 20 years, Tarun has acted in 23 films in Telugu and Tamil.

This handsome guy celebrates his birthday today and we at Galatta.com wish him a happy birthday and all the very best in his future endeavours. At present, he is busy with Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi, being directed by Kanmani and produced by Gogineni Srinivas and Rajkumar Harwani under the banner of Supreme Movies with Vimala Raman as heroine.
