Happy birthday Roma
Mollywood's charming beauty Roma, set to debut in Tamil with director S.K. Jeeva's upcoming romantic thriller Vanjikottai Vaaliban opposite Sakthi after marking her Telugu entry with Mr. Errababu (2005) and Kannada foray with Aramane (2008), celebrates her birthday on August 25. Born in 1984 to Chennai-settled parents Muraleedhar, who runs a wholesale Jewellery shop and Madhu, model-turned-actress Roma made her entry into films with the super hit Malayalam movie Notebook for which she was adjudged best newcomer by Kerala Film Critics' Association, Asianet TV, Amrita TV and Kalakeralam.
Though her second film July 4 was a flop, her next Chocolate opposite Prithviraj was a big hit and became a turning point in her career. She has also acted in several music albums by the band team 'Malayalee' with popular singer Vineeth Sreenivasan.
The actress is currently busy with a number of films, including Utharaswayamvaram opposite Jayasuriya and Vinu Mohan starrer�Kanakazhchakal.
