Genelia refuses to board a flight
Actress Genelia drove the Naa Ishtam makers crazy for a while, when she refused to board a flight to Malaysia for the shoot.
According to sources, as soon as the actress reached the airport in Hyderabad, she blasted the production team for 15 to 20 minutes because her mother’s ticket was booked in economy class and not business. It was only after her mother was upgraded, that she boarded the flight.
"Not only did the producer lose a good chunk of money, the last minute tension was crazy. According to the new regulations framed by Producers’ Council, the producer has to book different class tickets for the heroine and her escort. Despite our repeated requests, she was adamant and we had no option since the whole overseas schedule would have gone haywire causing a huge loss for the producer,” said a source.
It is noteworthy that the producers of Orange had earlier blamed Genelia for demanding Rs. 10 lakh more before boarding a flight to Australia.
