November 30 was an eventful day for fans, who witnessed the biggest stars in Tamil cinema and entertainment take to the stage amidst grand celebrations at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023. Among the big names who graced the event were popular Tamil YouTubers Gopi and Sudhakar of Parithabangal fame who were bestowed with the 'Most Loved Digital Entertainers of All Time' honor. Presented by Arvind Naidu, Head of Marketing, Sunland Refined Sunflower Oil, Gopi and Sudhakar received the the 'Most Loved Digital Entertainers of All Time' award from actor-host Ma Ka Pa Anand and Pradeep Milroy, Senior Vice President, Disney+ Hotstar at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023.
Expressing their happiness at being adjudged the 'Most Loved Digital Entertainers of All Time at Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023, Gopi said, "This is a truly joyous occasion. When we saw all the people who won here, we realized where we were. We are seeing our God, Vadivelu sir, in person here, and it is an emotional moment for us. Receiving an award on the same stage where he did is big for us and I don't know how to explain this feeling further." Upon Sudhakar being asked how he felt, he kept his response short saying he too feels extremely happy with the honor.
Both Gopi and Sudhakar then entertained the audience gathered at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023 with performances, including one where the duo played husband and wife, which earned them a huge round of applause. The Parithabangal duo then performed a skit they had done four years back where they danced in the rain, which garnered them big feedback at the time and once again this time at the Galatta Nakshatra Awards 2023. The evening also saw them recreate a scene from Bigg Boss Tamil where Gopi did an impersonation of Kamal Haasan, with Sudhakar playing one of the contestants.
