Shankar’s grand sci-fi saga featuring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead is building up fast with lots of CGI and graphical work. The film’s release date has been postponed to January 2018.

The team now plans to release the music composed by AR Rahman this Diwali, which is also the release date for Vijay-Atlee’s untitled film. Endhiran 2.0 will be out only in 2018 but the crew wants to create hype by launching the audio earlier so that the songs would reach the audience before the official release.
