The highly successful Hindi movie Band Baaja Baaraat, produced by Yash Raj Films, is now being remade in Tamil and Telugu. This 2010 flick had Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles! The remake stars Nani and newcomer Vaani Kapoor, who will also be seen in Yash Raj Films' Hindi flick Shuddh Desi Romance. The remake, produced by YRF and directed by Gokul Krishna, has already completed shooting one schedule, and the next schedule is to happen in Mysore and Hyderabad. YRF has planned to mark its entry into the South with this movie, and will follow it up with a number of other remakes, as well as regional specific films.
