Asin to romance Shahrukh?
After romancing two of the three Khans in Bollywood (Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Salman Khan in London Dreams and Ready), Bollywood sensation and South Indian beauty Asin is all set to romance the third Khan, none other than Shahrukh Khan in his new film titled 2 States, a screen adaption of bestseller 'Two States' written by Chetan Bhagat, reports said.
According to sources, Asin has been chosen for the heroine's role, because the lead female character in the novel is a Tamil. The film will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
Reportedly, Asin was the first choice of producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bhardwaj. Asin is already working in Nadiadwala's another production Housefull 2.
2 States chronicles around the life of a young couple Krish and Ananya, who belong to Delhi and Tamil Nadu respectively. They meet while studying at IIM, Ahmadabad. Their parents are against their 'cross cultural' marriage.
