With effect to the complaint filed by director Mu. Kalanjiyam, actress Anjali has been asked to complete Kalanjiyam’s film before moving on to other projects. It was also said that she has been banned from acting in Tamil films till she completes the pending project.

But, the actress is still tight lipped about the issue. The latest development is that Jaguar Thangam, General Secretary of Tamil Nadu Producer’s Guild stated that they have sent a letter to Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film producers’ unions also, asking them to not allow Anjali to act in any new projects.

Jaguar Thangam says that she should either finish Kalanjiyam’s film or should compensate for the producer’s loss. He further added that if Anjali is concerned about security issues, the union is ready to provide security during the shoot.
