Allu Arjun debuts in Kollywood

After wowing the Kerala audience with the dubbed versions of his super hit films including Arya 2, Tollywood’s youth icon Allu Arjun is preparing for his debut in Kollywood.

In a recent interview to a national newspaper, the actor said that with his growing popularity in Kerala and Karnataka, he is planning his forthcoming film Badrinath as a bilingual, which will mark his entry into Kollywood.

"I received overwhelming response in Kerala and my fan base is gradually expanding. But I intend to do a Tamil film since I am well-versed in Tamil, having grown up in Chennai. For this, I prefer to do bilingual films. The foray might begin with my next film Badrinath. At the present time, it is very essential for a hero to expand his base to the maximum extent," Allu Arjun said.

In Badrinath, the actor appears as a sword-wielding warrior. "I would explore those roles as well, since their reach and span is mind-blowing. Also, I have done enough of that lover boy, prankster roles," he added.
