The prestigious Nandi Awards, awarded by the Andhra Pradesh Govt., were recently announced, and the awards for 2011 were distributed at a glitzy event on the eve of Ugadhi! The AP Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, and Minister DK Aruna gave away the awards! The highlight of the event was the presence of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who was the recipient of the NTR National Award. The other top award winners were Aadhi Seshagiri Rao, Sri Kaikala Satyanarayana, Raghupathi Venkaiah, Mahesh Babu, Nayanthara and Akkineni Nagarjuna!
