Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam actor Thavasi passes awayProducers SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu are known for bankrolling and backing quality contents and they’ve proven their love for fresh contents with movies like Maya, Maanagaram, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Aruvi, Monster, Kaithi, and more. The duo produce movies under two different banners - Dream Warrior Pictures and Potential Studios. The production house’s next release will be Karthi’s Sulthan, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame. Produced under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures, this family entertainer features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and notably, the film marks her debut in Tamil cinema. The first look poster of the film received a good response and the makers are planning for a grand theatrical release soon. If reports are to be believed, Sulthan might hit the screens for Pongal 2021.

SR Prabhu is also producing Sharwanand’s next Tamil - Telugu bilingual which is tentatively called Sharwanand 30. This film is directed by debutant Shree Karthick who is known for his short films. This untitled venture will have music scored by Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru fame Jakes Bejoy and cinematography by Sujith Sarang. Acclaimed Telugu director Tharun Bhascker of Pelli Choopulu fame has written the Telugu dialogues. Sharwanand 30 features Ritu Varma as the female lead and Amala Akkineni, Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi in supporting roles. Notably, the film marks Amala’s return to Tamil cinema after almost 30 years.

The latest update about the film is that the makers have completed the shooting and are now all set to focus on the post production works. The shooting was wrapped up yesterday (Nov 24) and actor Sharwanand shared the good news with his fans and followers. The final schedule of the film took place amidst the pandemic with a limited crew and necessary precautions and it is good that the film has now been wrapped. Details regarding the film’s release plans are yet to be known and we will update about it in the coming days.
