Popular Telugu actor Rana Daggubati got engaged to Miheeka Bajaj in May 2020 and the news took everyone by surprise and happiness. Wishes poured in for the talented actor from all quarters. Miheeka Bajaj is a fashion designer who is also the founder of Dew Drop Design Studio. The duo will be getting married on August 8 in a low key event. There were speculations that the wedding will happen on a grand scale, but it looks like that is not the truth. According to a report on Times Of India, the wedding will happen on August 8 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad and not more than 30 people will be present at the wedding.

Talking to TOI, Rana’s father Suresh Daggubati said, “There will not be more than 30 people present at the wedding. We want to limit the guest list to just family and we haven’t invited even some of our closest friends, within and outside the film industry. The reality is that Covid-19 cases continue to rise and we don’t want our celebrations to risk anybody’s health, so I want to set the right example. The ceremony will be small but beautiful. Everybody who will attend the wedding will get tested for Covid-19. We will also keep sanitisers across the venue and maintain social distance. It’s a happy occasion and we want to make it a safe one too”.

Going by the updates from Suresh Daggubati, it looks like the family is very keen on hosting the wedding in a safe manner. Rana Daggubati is one of the most friendliest actors in the industry and he maintains a very good rapport with almost all the actors in the Indian film industry and having said that, it is believed that Rana and Miheeka will host a grand reception and party after the pandemic. All the leading star heroes are expected to attend that grand event, but for now, it is going to be a small wedding with just family members. We can expect the wedding pictures to go viral on social media on August 8.

On the work front, Rana Daggubati is awaiting the release of Kaadan/Aranya/Haathi Mere Saathi which happens to be his next. Rana plays the lead role in this Prabu Solomon directorial that will hit the screens after the pandemic. Rana also has Virata Parvam, an intense love story set in the backdrop of communism and revolution. Directed by Venu Udugala of Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame, Virata Parvam features Sai Pallavi, Priyamani, and Nandita Das as the female leads.
