Blockbuster Tollywood filmmaker Sekhar Kammula’s father Kammula Seshaiah passed away early this morning (August 1), around 6 AM at a private hospital. According to reports, Kammula Seshaiah died due to prolonged illness. He was 89 years old when he breathed his last. The last rites and final rituals will be performed at Bansilalpet Cremation Grounds in Hyderabad today evening. Seshaiah has appeared in brief roles in Sekhar Kammula’s earlier films and the Telugu audience would have seen him. Notably, he has been spotted with Sekhar Kammula during movie shootings as well.

His unexpected demise must definitely be a big personal loss for Sekhar Kammula and we hope he gains strength during these testing times. Many leading actors and celebrities from the industry have shared their condolence messages on social media and personally to Sekhar Kammula.
