One of the most shocking and horrific incidents in recent times in the country happened on April 18 when a 23-year-old civil engineering student named Madhu was raped, burnt and left hanging at Raichur in Karnataka.
With many notable celebrities and the common folk across the nation voicing out their resentment and frustration at the terrible incident, popular Tamil actress Yashika Aannand too took to her Instagram page and posted a story expressing her anger at the heinous crime that has occured at Raichur.
Soon after, Yashika’s Instagram story went on receive quite a lot of responses among which one of them left the actress fuming with rage as it was derogatory against her as well as women in general. She was quick to respond and questioned the individual asking him if he was a human at all while also labelling him as a cheap person.
