A highly anticipated film in recent times, ‘Thala’ Ajith’s Viswasam directed by Siva is gearing up for a massive Pongal 2019 release amidst huge expectations. A Sathya Jyothi Films venture, the upcoming rural entertainer features a host of popular stars namely Nayanthara as the female lead followed by Vivek, Kovai Sarala, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Ramesh Thilak, Thambi Ramaiah, Bose Venkat and Jagapati Babu in an undisclosed role.
With the makers standing firm for the film to hit screens as a Pongal release, the Managing Director of Vettri Theatres in Chennai, Rakesh Gowthaman was queried on Twitter as to what would be the best release date for Viswasam considering multi-starrer biggies namely ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Petta and STR’s Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven too are set for a grand festive opening.
Rakesh addressed the query on his Twitter page, which can be seen below in his tweet:
Always Friday release is the best release day. Thursday provided Fri is a holiday.
