After the success of recently released Samar, directed by Thiru, Vishal seem to be too happy and has said that he wants to direct a film too! He revealed that he has a story already and that he thinks Shruthi Haasan will fit into the role perfectly, as he wrote the script keeping her in mind. Since the actor is busy with films, he is not sure if it will even happen. Interestingly, the actor stepped into the industry with the intention of becoming a director and has assisted actor-director Arjun in Vedham and Ezhumalai. A producer spotted him on the sets while he assisted Arjun and signed him to play the lead in Chellame. Since then, there was no looking back for the actor as he got busy with acting. But it seems, the wish in him to become a director is still alive and he can be expected to make his directorial debut some day. The actor's upcoming projects are Madha Gaja Raja and Pattathu Yaanai.
