After making a successful debut with Kumki, Vikram Prabhu has been roped in to play the lead in Ivan Veramathiri and Sigaram Thodu. After taking a break to celebrate Pongal, the young actor has resumed shooting for Ivan Veramathiri and he expressed how great he feels about returning in front of the camera. The film is being directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppodhum fame and produced by Lingusamy under his banner Thirupathi Brothers. Music is being composed by Sathya, who made his debut with Engeyum Eppodhum. Ganesh Venkatraman, who played the role of a strict policeman in Unnaipol Oruvan, will be seen playing an important role in the film. Vikram Prabhu's other film Sigaram Thodu will be directed by Gaurav of Thoonga Nagaram fame and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. The actor is the son of veteran actor Prabhu and grandson of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan.
