The shooting of Thalapathy 63 is progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai and the makers are targetting a Diwali 2019 theatrical release. The film has an ensemble star cast that includes Vijay, Nayanthara, Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Reba Monica John, Anandaraj, and others. The film's music is composed by A.R.Rahman and visuals is shot by G.K.Vishnu.

The film is said to be a sports-based action entertainer that happens in the North Chennai backdrop. The team is shooting in sets that are constructed to bring out the nativity of North Chennai. Meanwhile, it looks like the film will also have a portion taking place in North India. Our close sources tell us that the makers shot an important sequence in a set erected at Royapettah.

We are informed that it was a set of a North Indian police station and to be precise, it is said to be Gurugram Police Station. Vijay will reportedly feature in a stylish outlook in that Police station sequence and through this update, it looks like an important portion of the story will take place in Gurugram, Noida and neighbouring North Indian areas.

Amidst huge expectations from the fans and general audience, Thalapathy 63's first look and the title is expected to be revealed on June 22, on the star's birthday.
