Being a film by Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi, it is not surprising to see Meesaya Murukku being a chartbuster with some of the best hit songs to its credit. While the film was ready a long time ago, the makers were looking for the right release when the theater strike happened.

Many films had backed off to give space for movies like Ivan Thanthiran and Vanamagan to run before they release their own. Meesaya Murukku by Aadhi will get released on July 21st confirmed the team stating that they have backed off from their original date so that older films could run unabated in theaters.
