Towards the end of last week, Sivakarthikeyan’s next film’s title, Mr. Local, was unveiled along with the first look poster.
A M. Rajesh directorial, Mr. Local being produced by Studio Green includes Nayanthara playing the female lead followed by Raadhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Sathish among others in supporting roles with music by Hiphop Tamizha.
With the Mr. Local first look going on to trend in quick time, director Rajesh has now opened up on the team’s decision for the choice of the film's title. He states, "There were many titles that were discussed. This title perfectly matched the core content of the movie."
He then spoke about Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara’s roles in the film saying, "Siva brings plenty of energy and vibration to the screen. His energy and improvisation instigate the director to delivery more in terms of creative content. Nayanthara is an absolute wonder. She creates magic on the screen."
In conclusion, Rajesh added saying, "Producer Gnanavel Raja has been of great support. His execution pattern and the human relationship value he shares with every single technician makes filmmaking a passionate and feel-good profession. We are in the final stages of the shooting process with the post-production works being done parallelly. With all positive thinking, we are aiming for a summer release."
