In an exclusive interview with Galatta, STR has opened up about this venture with director Venkat Prabhu. The movie titled as Maanadu is expected to go floors soon.
When asked about the movie, STR said, “The story is based on what people need nowadays. It's not like a political film and it does not have any platform where I can register my own ideology and also there won't be any lengthy punch dialogs in the movie.”
STR also added, “The script is even based on the society and that’s why I liked it. The character is very fresh and an interesting one. It is different from a usual Venkat Prabhu movie and has a very strong script”
Simbu’s much-anticipated venture Chekka Chivantha Vaanam with director Maniratnam is set to hit the screens on 28th September and the trailer of the movie is expected soon.
Simbu also has multiple projects in the queue with director Sundar C, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Karthick Naren.
