Shriya's spa for the visually challenged

Glam doll Shriya Saran joins the league of celebrities who deserve applause and apreciation with their humanitarian activities! The actress is planning to start a spa in Mumbai exclusively for the visually challenged.

The actress said that she was always concerned about the disabled from her childhood days. "Life is not all about money and fame; what matters is what you do for the people around you. I am planning to open a spa in Mumbai shortly. When I used to study in Delhi, we used to visit a blind school quite often. My experiences there left a deep impact on me, so much so that I chose to open a spa for visually challenged people in Mumbai," she said.

"The strongest of their senses is that of touch. So at the spa, we offer them treatments like reflexology and massages that are programmed to give them great comfort," she added. Shriya Saran, who made a comeback to Telugu with Don Seenu and Puli, has recently completed shooting for Chikku Bukku, which will hit cinemas on December 3. Besides, she is acting in the Malayalam film Casanova opposite Mohanlal.
