Robot Bala Abirami: Abirami Mega Mall's innovative cinema

Abirami Mega Mall in Chennai introduced its innovative cinema, 'Robot Bala Abirami' today. The cinema, promoted as India's first futuristic theatre, holds true to its tagline with the services it offers. The newly constructed Bala Abirami theatre is designed to resemble a spaceship. To go with the theme, the service personnel would be dressed in robot costumes to receive the guests. For the comfort of its guests, the cinema also has fully reclining cushioned seats.

The reclining seats also gives a view like a planetarium, with models of stars, planets and other heavenly bodies. Visitors need not visit the stalls for snacks, as Abirami service personnel would serve them at the seats. The cinema has also introduced a pick up and drop facility before and after the shows. The Managing Director of Abirami Megamall, Abirami Ramanathan declared open the cinema.
