The Supreme Court today delivered a landmark judgment on the Cauvery water dispute between Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala saying no state can claim the ownership of a river. The Apex Court further ordered 177.25 TMC of Cauvery water to be released for Tamil Nadu while Karnataka will be getting an additional 14.75 TMC.
Having said that, actor Rajinikanth has reportedly verbally instructed his followers in the Rajini Makkal Mandram to not make any statements regarding the Cauvery verdict.
It must be noted Rajinikanth recently announced his political entry and his views on the Cauvery verdict will likely be awaited among his fans as well as the common public.
We will now have to wait and see how or whether Rajinikanth will respond.
