In an exclusive chat with Galatta, director Priyadharshan talks about Udhayanidhi in his upcoming movie Nimir. He says that though he has not seen any of Udhay's movies so far, he knew him as a person and he likes his innocent face.
Udhay was seen remarking on a lighter note that he got to work with Priyadharshan only because he has not seen his earlier movies. But, the director is very confident on Udhay's talent as an actor and he says that he felt 50% confident on the role only after casting him.
The remaining 50% was to make Udhay fit into this character and he feels he has won the challenge and confirms that people will love Udhay as an actor in Nimir.
It is interesting to know that director Mahendran who plays a pivotal role in Nimir, mentioned after dubbing that Udhay has surpassed Fahadh in performance as Nimir is a remake of Maheshinte Prathikaaram.
It is a great feet achieved by Udhay after a decade of acting career to be revered by two big directors and we wish Udhay a great career ahead with lot more interesting roles. Click here to watch the full interview.
