What would be the normal tendency of a young boy who has a very successful father in the glamorous film world? Naturally, he would want to become an actor and most probably, would look forward to use the social leverage of his famous father! But here is a young debutant who did not reveal his illustious paretnage to a producer until he secured the role! We are talking about Guru, son of famous comedian and character artist Pandu!

Son of a famous actor, Guru grew up breathing Cinema. He was completely obsessed with this medium early in life and aspired to become an actor, eagerly participating in every single school and college play. He also did some modeling assignments, with the hope that they would help him get noticed.

Not once did this young man think of using his father’s influence to get a role or ask his father to make a film to launch him! Instead, he took the difficult route of looking for roles without anyone’s help. Self-reliant and independent, he would attend auditions without revealing his father's name. When he heard Linguswamy was holding an audition for youngsters to play school kids in Pattalam, he rushed to the audition, took part and secured a role with his brilliant performance. Only then did he let Linguswamy and others know that he is Pandu's son! Moved by his self-dependency and self-respect, Linguswamy even increased his footage in the film!

On March 27th, when Pattalam releases, this young man will live his dream! We wish this young actor all the best!
