The Accidental Prime Minster's trailer has been creating a lot of buzz from the time it has got released. The film will show the life of Dr. Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister of India. The trailer has created a lot of buzzes and has caught the attention of many political parties.
Recently the Congress had attacked the BJP after they had lauded the trailer of The Accidental Prime Minister, starring Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh, Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore on Friday asked whether his party doesn’t even have the freedom to extend wishes to a film.
Asked for his comments on the controversy, outside Parliament, Mr. Rathore told the media: “Can’t we extend our wishes for a film? The Congress party has been all for freedom, why is it questioning that freedom now?”Directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, the film stars Kher as Manmohan Singh and Akshaye Khanna as Baru. The film is based on a book by Manmohan Singh's media advisor Sanjaya Baru —’The Accidental Prime Minister’ —which was published in 2014.
